Security

Your data, kept apart and kept safe.

Your books, customers, prices and sales are some of the most sensitive things your company has. Here is how TranzSuite looks after them.

A database of your own

Each company's data is kept in its own separate database, never mixed with another company's. Every request is checked against the company it belongs to.

Books that can't be quietly changed

The database itself refuses unbalanced journal entries, edits or deletions of posted entries and stock movements, and postings into a closed period. Corrections are reversing entries, so the history stays intact.

Roles and permissions

Owners, managers, accounting, warehouse, cashiers, reps, drivers and portal customers each see only what their job needs. A portal customer only ever sees their own account.

No card details stored

At the point of sale, cards are taken on your store's own card terminal. TranzSuite records the amount and the approval code, never the card number.

An audit log

Approvals, price changes, posted payments, logins created and settings changed are recorded with who did it and when.

Encrypted, in transit and at rest

All connections use HTTPS. Passwords for any systems you connect are encrypted and stored separately for each company.

Careful with passwords

Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, and repeated failed sign-ins lock the account or address for a while.

Support access you control

When TranzDigital support needs to look inside your company, it's recorded, time-limited and can be switched off by your administrator.

Two-step sign-in for our staff

TranzDigital staff sign in to the platform with two-step verification.

Location only when it's needed

A driver's position is shared only while their run is on the road. A rep's only during a workday they start, after a clear notice, until they end it. Only the latest point is kept, and your company can switch it off.

Where your data lives

TranzSuite runs on Vercel, with company databases on Neon (PostgreSQL). E-mail is sent through Resend and phone notifications through Expo, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service. Notifications only say that there is something new; the details stay in TranzSuite. The full list is in our privacy policy.

Reporting a problem

If you think you've found a security issue, please e-mail sales@tranzdigital.com with the subject “Security”. We look at every report.
